Abstract

A rapid and managed phase-out of fossil fuel production is now the litmus test for climate leadership, but how can governments achieve this aim? Britain, with a buoyant Labour Party at its helm, has made some important first steps in this regard. Yet the government must go further to lead on a fossil fuel phase-out domestically and abroad.
